Knicoma Frederick who is professionally known as “Intent” was born on April 2, 1980 in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in Brooklyn before moving to Dover, Delaware in 1991. His first art experience was when he professionally started making his series of art books: WPIZ. His main mediums of art for his paintings are acrylics, pastels, and watercolors. The drawings he does are done with colored pencils, markers, pen, and crayon. His favorite subject matter is “ space.” The meaning behind his artwork Knicoma says, “depends on what I am drawing.” The importance of creating his artwork is,” I just don’t mess up in art, and make sure all my pictures come out perfect.” Knicoma doesn’t have a plan for what his future works of art are going to be, but he does know that what he creates will depend on the present. He has been a member of the CVF for 2 years.
